10-year-old classical pianist Harmony Zhu is a prodigy known for her exceptional talents in both music and chess. Starting in 2012-- when she was 6!--she won the Na- tional First Place 7 year old category of the Canadian Music Competition to become the youngest winner in history, then beat out the 8 and 9 year olds in 2013 and 2014, making her the only participant in history to win First Place in older age categories for 3 years in a row. Since moving to the US when she was 8, she won the Julliard Pre-college Concerto Competition in her first year and is scheduled to perform at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater in May For information, call (340) 779-4322

The Reichhold Center hosts 13-year-old jazz sensation Joey Alexander, Indonesian pianist and child prodigy. He released his first album, My Favorite Things, in 2015-- at age 11. "There has never been anyone that you can think of who could play like that at his age. I love everything about his playing, his rhythm, his confidence, his understand- ing of the music," says Wynton Marsalis of this young performer.
